When I first realised that my hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme morning sickness) is back, I knew I can manage this much better than I did the last time. For one thing – I promised myself that the moment I sense dehydration creeping in, I would immediately go to the O&G 24-hour clinic for hydration.
So I went today and after getting checked, they confirmed I was dehydrated and required a hydration package – 2 500ML bottles for 2 hours. I felt a lot better after and was even able to eat a sandwich.
I was charged 258.85, and here’s the breakdown:
98.00 – Professional Fees (repeat visit)
122.53 – Hydration Package
20.00 – Dextrose 5% / Sodium Chloride 0.9% (500ML x 2)
0.47 – Metoclopramide 5 mG/ML Injection (2 ML)
0.92 – Ranitidine 50MG/2ML
